Additional initiatives

At Motorola, we regularly engage in charity activities. We spend time helping together – cleaning the forest, painting the walls of the child care home, and renovating the animal shelter. We organize fundraising, e.g. for the Foundation for Aid to Orphans and Widows of Fallen Police Officers and the raising of clothes and food products. We also take part in the Business Against Smog educational program for schools and kindergartens.
Council was created by employees with disabilities, their family members, friends, and as well as employees interested in this area from the science and technology point of view. The purpose of the council is to improve the level of education and awareness, accessibility in the work environment, and the overall level of employment. We create space for Motorola Solutions employees to freely and fully understand their business and private goals. We cooperate with other business councils and external organizations.
The group was founded on the initiative of non-heteronormative employees. The main assumption is to draw attention to the everyday life and related problems of the LGBTQ+ community. We started our activity with a picnic during which we got to know each other and we continue it continuously in order to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues in Poland. The group is also a place where non-heteronormative people can find support and understanding. Together, we would like to help our employees and the wider community in Poland to understand each other.
Cracow innovation Community supports every person that would like to start innovating by preparing inspiring events and training. As a Motorola employee, you will have an opportunity to participate in hackathons solving cutting-edge problems or present your ideas during Innovation Showcase. The innovation community organises also brainstorming for innovators willing to help resolve problems from different technology areas. Let’s define the future with us.
We enhance professional development, leadership, and networking opportunities for young professionals by organizing meetings with organization leaders, soft skills training, and networking events.
Motorola Science Cup is an IT knowledge competition for secondary school students across Poland. Its goal is a popularization of Information Technology and math science – especially, computer science, logic, mathematics, and physics. Students can win awards that would help them with further development in the STEM field.
Women's Business Council was established in 2013 and it brings together women from varied areas: Products, Software Enterprise, Sales, Services, Finance, and Learning. The main goal is to enhance, develop and support women employed at Motorola Solutions in the field of programming, mentoring, networking, and philanthropic activities.

Physical activity is a hobby of many of us, which is why at Motorola we have created sections for sports amateurs. We play volleyball and football together (Motoliga), go to bicycle rallies, meet at tennis and squash courts, and go on a wakeboard. We are team players not only in the office!
